Alex graduated from Nanhall Professional School of Grooming in December 2007 and quickly realized her dream of owning her own salon. In April 2008, she purchased Groomingdales and began building the welcoming, pet-focused environment it is today. Her goal has always been to create a place where dogs feel comfortable, cared for, and even excited to visit. Alex can’t imagine a more fulfilling career and has loved forming lasting relationships with her clients and watching them grow over the years. Dogs truly mean everything to her.
Sam has loved working with dogs since she was 14 years old. After graduating from Nanhall Professional School of Grooming in 2020, she brought her talents to Groomingdales in October 2023. Known for her calm and soothing personality, Sam has a special ability to help anxious dogs relax and feel comfortable. She also loves getting creative and giving each pup a fresh, fun look.
Since joining Groomingdales in August 2024 after graduating high school, Adrianna has brought warmth and positivity to the team. Her gentle, friendly personality creates a welcoming experience for both clients and their pets, whether she’s assisting at the front desk or helping with daily operations. With a genuine love for dogs, she makes it a point to give each pup extra care, affection, and attention throughout their stay.
Dale is the resident shop cat at Groomingdales and has made the salon his full-time home. He was rescued as a tiny kitten after being found in a dumpster by one of our clients. Dale loves dogs and often thinks he’s one himself! You’ll usually find him lounging on the front desk, happily soaking up attention from clients. While he’s incredibly sweet, he is still a cat and can be a bit unpredictable at times. Rest assured, if your dog isn’t fond of cats, Dale seems to know and has plenty of cozy hiding spots where he can relax out of sight.
Lexi is our dedicated bather and grooming assistant, bringing both passion and patience to every pet she cares for. Lexi has a naturally calm presence, using her soft-spoken voice and kind heart to help pets feel safe and comfortable during their visit. Whether it’s a first-time puppy or a nervous senior, Lexi takes the time to build trust and ensure every furry friend has a positive experience.
